Scope
This policy applies to advisory and consulting fees published on sharpnode.one in KRW. It supplements engagement letters signed for corporate clients.
Cooling-off Period
Consumers governed by Republic of Korea law may withdraw from remote contracts within seven days of purchase unless services have commenced with explicit consent. Where statutory periods differ, the longer consumer protection applies.
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be available when Sharpnode cancels an engagement before kickoff or fails materially to deliver contracted milestones described in writing.
Partial Performance
If deliverables were partially completed with client approval, refunds reflect remaining unearned portions minus documented third-party costs already incurred.
Non-refundable Items
Third-party licensing, travel already booked, or expedited vendor payments may be non-refundable when disclosed in proposals.
Request Process
Submit refund requests to hello@sharpnode.one with engagement reference, invoices, and a concise explanation. We acknowledge within five business days.
Processing Time and Method
Approved refunds return via the original payment path where technically feasible within fourteen business days of approval. Delays caused by payment intermediaries are outside our control.
Cancellation by Client
Clients may cancel according to termination clauses in signed contracts. Early cancellation may incur fees for completed milestones or unavoidable vendor charges.
Exceptions
Statutory rights cannot be waived. If mandatory Korean consumer rules grant broader protections, those provisions prevail over conflicting clauses.
